What Are Beauty Enhanced Eyelash Extensions?
Beauty Enhanced Eyelash Extensions are semi-permanent eyelash extensions comprised of individual synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. Our lashes are thicker at the base and lengthen out to a fine point. They are applied to individual eyelashes, one extension at a time, for a natural, elegant look to lengthen and add fullness to the existing lashes.
What do they look like and how do they feel?
Your new set of Beauty Enhanced Eyelash Extensions will look fuller and longer, whilst maintaining a natural feel. Each application is customised to suit each individual. Varying individual lash lengths are chosen to carefully enhance the shape and frame of your natural lash line. The thickness is determined by the length and thickness of your natural lashes. The overall effect is added curl, thickness and length, opening up the eye for added definition. As long as you keep up with regular maintenance applications, it is almost impossible to tell that you are wearing the extensions.

How long do Eyelash Extensions last?
Your new set of Beauty Enhanced lashes will last anywhere from 2 to 12 weeks, depending on how you care for them and your natural lash cycle. Our natural lash cycle is around 60-90 days, which means your lashes gradually fall out and renew themselves, taking the lash extensions with them. Although the thinning process is gradual and subtle, we recommend that you come back and see us for refills every 3-4 weeks. The refill procedure takes approximately 60 minutes, depending on how many lashes extensions are remaining.
Is there any preparation required before my eyelash extension application?
Yes.
• Please ensure contact lenses are removed
• There is no trace of mascara on your lashes.
• DO NOT use any oil-based makeup removers or creams on your eyes the day you are booked in for your extensions.
• DO NOT curl your lashes 72 hrs prior to your appointment.
How long does the procedure take?
Depending on the number of lashes being applied, we ask you to allow anywhere between 90 to 150 minutes to apply a full set of Beauty Enhanced Eyelash Extensions. Maintenance appointments can be completed in approximately 60 minutes.
Can you describe the application process?
Once we have a firm grasp on the look and feel that you desire, we will prepare your eyelash with our state of the art primer and cleanser. We then secure your bottom lashes by applying a collagen eye patch that will ensure that your eyelash extensions are applied correctly to your upper eyelashes only. From this point onward your eyes are closed whilst our technician gets to work on enhancing your eyelashes, and is quite peaceful and relaxing for our clients. The application of eyelash extensions involves having a single synthetic lash applied to your natural set of lashes. We will assist you in maintaining your new lashes for as long as possible by educating you in the best ways to care for your new eyelashes at your consultation.
Can I apply Eyelash Extensions myself?
Unprofessional application or self-application may cause eye injury, lash damage or unnatural looking lashes. Beauty Enhanced Eyelash Extensions are applied one lash at a time to your individual natural eyelashes to achieve long, thick and natural looking eyelashes. The procedure involves bonding the synthetic extension to your own natural eyelashes and we recommend that they should only be applied by professionally trained Lash Stylists.
Can I still wear mascara with my extensions?
Of Course! However, you can only wear a mineral and water based mascara that has been created for eyelash extensions. Other mascara's contain oils that will dissolve the bonding agent of your extensions. We stock Blink: Noir Mascara! If you have experienced sensitivities to mascara in the past this will no longer happen. Its gentle formula is by far THE BEST on the market! It can also be used on lashes without extensions. What makeup remover can I use on my extensions?
We have had formulated for us a remover that can be used on eyelash extensions that is Oil-free and is fabulous at removing all traces of mascara and eye makeup. It is free from Oil, alcohol and contains natural ingredients like soothing Aloe Vera.
